In my six bronze sculptures, I want to examine one of our most important trees. The fir tree.

I wanted to portray and make visible this plant which is of great importance to us here in Sweden today and historically both when it comes to economy and heat but also security as many of our homes are built or constructed with wood from this plant. I wanted to make visible and make available the opportunity to get close to the fir tree and see it in a new context without cultural traditions, human or forest industry needs, but instead must be at the center of questions about the need for this necessary resource.
